My Practice

I represent service station owners and operators as plaintiffs in oil and gas litigation . Most of my clients have already been defendants in lawsuits seeking compensation for property damage or personal injury. I seek recovery of damages from other potentially responsible parties (PRPs), including major oil and gas companies, equipment manufacturers, and insurance companies.

Most of the legal work I do involves the recovery of damages for leaking or malfunctioning underground storage tanks (USTs). Because of my extensive experience, I am familiar with the issues surrounding leaking underground storage tanks (LUSTs), including the incompatibility of ethanol with many of the plastics and metals in existing USTs.

Because I understand the potential costs of legal action related to underground storage tanks, I have built a comprehensive network of experts, including specialists in plastics and polymers, rust and corrosion, fuels, installation and maintenance of equipment, soil and environmental cleanup, and business loss. I know that most defendants will allege that any damages were the result of faulty installation or poor maintenance. In my experience, however, service station owners and operators are rarely at fault for leaking or malfunctioning USTs.
